WE'RE BEATEN, BUT UNBEATABLE: Now that we're down to the and- then-there-were-two part of the 2006-07 NFL season, we are sad, because we've been leading the Press-Telegram Football Picks contest since the very earliest days of the game, when kids used to play football with nothing but a peach basket and a rolled-up pair of socks. We're going to miss our season of brutal domination. It was fun.
We are leading still, mathematically a shoo-in for the year, even though we have been so lousy at picking the post-season games that it's starting to look like a badly damaged Magic 8 Ball has been making our picks. Or a hat. Luckily, somewhat like a kangaroo, we had so many genius picks during the regular season we can live off the fat of our tail, so to speak, throughout the play-offs and the Super Bowl.See the full content of this document
