TAKE THE SEAWAY: Memorial Day Weekend, as it turns out, was much more than an opportunity to see how much chicken, barbecued ribs, pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, fruit salad, baked beans, mai tais, Irish Car Bombs, martinis and ice cream pie would fit into a 312- pound cop (a lot, especially if you jump up and down on it to pack it in). It was also a day to fire up Long Beach Transit's rapid, sea- pounding marine marauders, the AquaBus and the AquaLink.
