A charter reform group is making the rounds of Long Beach civic and business groups promoting their campaign to change the way we elect our City Council members.
As outlined in a recent P-T editorial, the "reformers" advocate reducing the number of council districts from nine to six, adding three at-large council members, extending term limits and giving more power to the mayor.
