THE BEATLES ON PAPER:Scavenging our way through some musty newspapers late last week in search of some early Beatles sightings or citings, our memory was tossed back to those days when we were a terribly young rock 'n' roll fan, and how out-of-touch the writers were from the newspapers - the Independent in the morning, the Press- Telegram in the afternoon - that used to land in the ivy in front of our home on Vuelta Grande Avenue back when the British Invasion was making our parents physically ill.
