Thirty-five members and husbands of the Long Beach Center Guild of AbilityFirst held their annual Summer Party on Aug. 27 at El Torito Restaurant in the Market Place.
It was a festive event with tables centered with live plants in full bloom, and with brightly colored balloons floating above. Margaritas and a delicious Mexican buffet made for a special evening of fun as the group prepared for another year of financial support to the Long Beach AbilityFirst Center, which provides programs and services for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities.See the full content of this document

President Annemarie Forster remarked that the guild is 49 members strong who each "step up to the plate" and hit a "home run" every year. Last year they made over $48,000.
