Summary
SCULPTURE ON THE BLOCK: The blinding pain that chainsawed through our hamstrings after our grueling and inspirational one-lap run of the AMGEN bike race last February has largely receded, almost to the point where we wouldn't mind giving birth again.
One of the aspects of our ride that made it almost bearable was the scattering of public art sculptures that were installed along the course, all made of bits of bikes and marked with an almost relentless sense of serendipity and wit, with occasional works of more traditional beauty, as determined by our beholding eye.See the full content of this document
