LEAVING HOME: We hauled ourself clear across town long AFTER SUNSET for that gigantic Scott Tisch benefit show at diPiazza's Wednesday night, mostly for a couple-three selfish reasons (there is, it seems, no end to things we won't do for ourself): to get a hug from D.D. Wood, who remains as beautiful and talented as the day we first laid ears on her back at the Blue Cafe during the earliest possible 1990s.
She was playing early in the show Wednesday, as is her demand, along with her teammates in Gypsy Trash, who include the also stupidly talented guitarer-vocaler Robbie Allen, who we're not even mad at anymore.See the full content of this document
