The U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy carried out anti- terrorism exercises Monday at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach involving more than 1,200 personnel from 24 local, state and federal agencies.
The two exercises, which began over the weekend, are Lead Shield III, a port-based drill designed to find mines, and Rogue Exercise V, designed to target "noncompliant' vessels, authorities said.See the full content of this document
