SANTA ANA - A Downey man who was drunk when the car he was driving crashed into another vehicle in Huntington Beach, killing a college student, was sentenced Friday to 11 years in prison.

Kenneth John McNair, 22, had a blood- alcohol level more than three times the legal limit on Nov. 15, 2008, when the Honda Accord he was driving slammed into the back of Jose Pacheco's Ford Mustang at Goldenwest Street and Edinger Avenue. Pacheco, 20, burned to death when the car exploded into flames.
