The LBUSD administration says their budget reflects their priorities. The current layoff of 32 custodians and groundskeepers along with dozens of school counselors, psychologists, and librarian positions does indeed reflect the district's priorities. They are especially clear when you compare them to the downsizing of only seven administrative positions this year.See the full content of this document

It seems the district's priorities lie at the district office, not the school sites. With all the custodial layoffs I bet the superintendent's office will still be cleaned every day. I wish my classroom fared as well with the cuts.
