Lax, Lgb Air Traffic Took Off in 2007

Summary


Despite rising ticket prices and a slowing economy, Los Angeles International Airport and other regional air fields, including Long Beach, saw an increase in passenger traffic in 2007, according to figures released Tuesday.

In all, 61,896,075 passengers came through LAX in 2007, a 1.4 percent increase from the previous year, according to Los Angeles World Airports, the city agency that operates the airport.
