LONG BEACH - Jury selection began Tuesday in the trial of Frankie Jaramillo, the alleged middleman in an alleged plot to kill a Bixby Knolls woman three years ago.
Jaramillo, 32, is charged with the first-degree murder of Lynn Schockner, 50, who was stabbed to death on the back porch of her home on Nov. 8, 2004. Her estranged husband, Manfred, was charged with conceiving the plot but has not yet been tried.See the full content of this document
