Summary
The Press-Telegram recently published two letters expressing support for the construction of jetways at Long Beach Airport. During the past few years, the term "jetways" has rarely entered the vernacular of public discussion. Now that the Long Beach Alliance has entered the fray, it's quite possible that these tail-chasers will stir up public interest in jetways, either publicly or behind- the-scenes.
Current modernization proposals do not include plans to build a second story, which would be required to construct jetways. It has been mentioned that jetways could invite a future lawsuit to bust our noise ordinance.
