Summary
Alex lives with his mother who is disabled and can not work. Although she receives some financial help for her disability and some from Alex's dad, it is not nearly enough to send Alex to camp. Because Alex spends very little time outdoors or in a public park, last year's camp experience was an exciting one he would love to experience again.
