Long Beach-based Gambol Industries will make yet another pitch on Tuesday in its ongoing attempt to operate a shipbuilding business from a pair of unused slips at the Port of Los Angeles.

Gambol has tried for more than a year to open a $50 million shipyard at the shuttered Southwest Marine slips on Terminal Island, but the company has run into a series of hurdles.
