BAGHDAD, Iraq Iraq's insurgency struck again with a vengeance Friday, killing at least 82 people across the country after a relatively quiet week.

Two suicide bombers wearing explosives vests walked up to two Shiite Muslim mosques in the largely Kurdish town of Khanaqin, near the Iranian border. Men in the town, about 90 miles northeast of Baghdad, were wrapping up their Friday prayers when the men detonated their bombs.
