LONG BEACH - A Canadian court will decide whether a former Boeing engineer who was placed on the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list for alleged child molestation will be deported to the United States - or if American authorities will have to seek extradition.

Richard Steve Goldberg, 61, eluded Long Beach police in June 2001 while authorities were still investigating him for suspected sexual activities with several girls under 10 years old. He has been missing since, residing in Montreal under the alias Terry Waybe Kearns.
