Cal State Trustees Consider Tuition Hikes

LONG BEACH - Cal State University trustees are meeting this week to consider a 5 percent tuition hike for the spring 2011 semester and an additional 10 percent increase for the 2011-2012 school year.

The 5 percent increase will add $105 to tuition costs and the 10 percent will add $444 in costs for the year. Currently, full-time undergraduate students pay an average tuition of $4,200 a year.
