With the opening of Moore League play less than a week away, the Wilson High boys basketball team picked a fine time to step up its play.

Getting what he called the best and most complete game out of his team this season, coach Ted Hollister loved what he saw in a 62-54 Bruins victory over Foothill in the fifth-place game of the North Orange County Championships at Troy High School on Friday.
