Long Beach 'Carol' Gives an Intimate Portrayal

Summary


For several years now, Long Beach Shakespeare Company has offered its version of Charles Dickens' classic tale of ghosts and redemption, "A Christmas Carol," at the Expo Center in Long Beach.

They're still at it, but this time it's in a new adaptation (playing through Dec. 18), written by Long Beach Shakespeare founder Helen Borgers and directed by Borgers in the company's own theater, the Richard Goad.
