PICO RIVERA A deputy attorney general filed on Friday for a rehearing of an appeal that resulted in a sentence reduction for a woman convicted of killing four members of her family in 2000.

Monica Diaz, who was 16 at the time of the murders, originally was convicted in 2004 of four counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances and one count of attempted murder.
